My name is Nancy Hanus, and I’m a communications professional with 36 years of experience as an editor, writer, designer, teacher, digital strategist and audience development specialist.
I’ve built and grown websites for media organizations and businesses large and small, and have developed digital, content and audience strategies for multiple organizations, including The Detroit News, Crain’s Detroit Business, Crain’s Cleveland Business, Patch.com, iCan.com and Metro Parent Magazine.
With extensive experience in print, website, social media, email newsletters and digital advertising, I can help your business or organization assess the right mix of tools and messages to increase audience and drive more revenue.
As a journalist and editor I sought to find the perfect phrase and always strived for accuracy and well-crafted stories,. Similarly, I thrive on finding the perfect solutions to reaching audiences. There’s really nothing quite like knowing you have reached a reader, a listener or a customer with your message. So whether I’m writing my own content, editing someone else’s or developing targeted campaigns for customers I find the biggest thrill in knowing I’ve hit the mark.
As a digital strategist and audience director in my past two jobs and as a consultant for the past several years, I’ve learned that digging in and learning as much as I can before tackling a project is the key to great results. Just as importantly, I believe in monitoring and analyzing – then tweaking – to ensure your campaign stays on track.
